Vernon Central fire department responded to a vehicle fire a little after 9 am this morning.
The fire had been put out by hand extinguishers by the time the firemen arrived on scene and the car had been pushed away from the building to prevent the fire from spreading to the welding shop.
Electrical issues are the suspected cause of the blaze. The vehicle was parked and unoccupied when the fire broke out and there were no injuries reported.
